单位简介 INTRODUCTION:

作为中国创意之都深圳的唯一国立科研机构---中国科学院深圳先进技术研究院(以下简称先进院),由中国科学院、深圳市政府、香港中文大学2006年在深圳共同组建,定位于创建国际一流的工业研究院。

经过十年的建设,先进院先后获得中组部千人计划基地,万人计划基地,拥有千人计划、百人计划逾65人,获批的广东省创新团队超越广东省其他高校及科研机构,全省第一;深圳市引进海外智力示范单位,国家国际科技合作基地。先进院目前共有正式员工1200余人,博士学历比例超过45%,具有海外留学背景人员超过460人,已经逐渐成为华南人才高地.

Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT)-Chinese Academy of Sciences was jointly established by Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), and the Shenzhen Municipal Government in 2006.Over the past 10 years, SIAT has earned an outstanding reputation for translating findings from basic research into industrial application under the efforts of the interdisciplinary teams of scientists and engineers. The wide-ranging expertise drawing from technical, engineering or science professions has now positioned SIAT at the interface between biology technologies (BT) and information technologies (IT) for the 21st century innovation.
